I have this exact fruit basket but in the copper color and I decided to give it a review today after numerous frustrating experiences with the chain breaking in different places. It looks nice, but it can hardly hold anything without breaking! Before this I had the classic "fishnet" hanging basket, and that one broke once, I fixed it and it never happened again. After many years and it getting dusty I replaced it with this one and I hate it! Every time I place a new fruit in it, my heart shrinks in fear that it might break again and often, it does. I don't want to go to the hardware store and get a new chain, I just want a functioning hanging fruit basket!!! PS- I did not buy mine from Amazon, but from a kitchen store. Which I'm sure makes no difference in the quality.

It makes my kitchen look so much better and homey. Plus it gets all the fruit and garlic off of my counter-tops.

This basket serves it's purpose. I have not had a single issue with it falling or not staying in place. It look decent and can hold the weight of potatoes, onions, bananas, and anything else you want.

I read the earlier reviews and was a little worried about getting a defective unit, but couldn't find any 3-tier baskets locally (tried Target, Walmart, Sears, Penney's, Lowes and even Bed, Bath & Beyond without success), so I bought it. Mistake!! Already there were loose chain links lying in bottom of box when I first opened it, so I should have returned it immediately. Instead I started fiddling with it as though it were a jigsaw puzzle and two hours passed before I had a functional basket. It was OK for a couple of weeks until I bumped (lightly) against it and it collapsed all over the floor. The instructions do warn that the basket has a 10-lb weight limit--not very much when a single piece of fruit or potato can weight over a pound. The chrome chain appears designed for decorative purposes only; the weakest part of the link is right at the highest stress point. I took the advice of another reviewer and bought 8' of steel chain from hardware store for $5. This worked fine, and it was actually easier to replace the chain than to straighten out the original. If you plan to buy one of these, get your replacement chain from the hardware store in advance so you won't be tempted to fiddle with the original.

I ordered these baskets hoping they would look nicer then the usual wire 3 tier baskets, but unfortunately they do not. They actually not only looked cheap, they were very poorly constructed. Each basket alone was fine, but the chains that they hung from were very flimsy and at each point where the basket is attached to the chain, it was attached with a wire clip making the overall appearance cheap. I returned this item even though they are deducting $5.93 for shipping and the baskets cost me $16 and change, there was nothing I would ever use these for.

...and the one I did get does not turn smoothly. It sticks like there is a defect in the bearing track. Absolute junk.

I have been using this product for over ten years and I keep finding more uses for them. I now own seven of these and not one has ever broken on me. I use them for spices, medicines, perfume,jewelry etc.. I am wondering if the previous customer put the rollerball ring on incorrectly. I will keep buying these as I keep finding uses for them.

Wanting an efficient place to store spices, I purchased the Rubbermaid twin turntable at a drugstore for about $12, and I was VERY disappointed with it. I tried placing it on several different surfaces, and it did not spin on any of them. I tried spinning the bottom tier by itself before attaching the top tier, and I tried with the whole thing assembled, and it didn't work either way. The plastic pieces feel like they are going to break if you push too hard while assembling it. I will be returning this item.

I find its great for those little items like spices and olive oil in the upper cabinets. I am 5'7 and don't have to grab a stool or chair to try and find things in the back of the cabinets. Other turntables were to big to fit. This one is great for what I need it for.

This turntable is simple, inexpensive, and works great up to about 10 pounds of stuff (more than enough for most uses).

I bought several of these and don't think much of them. They are hard plastic and the bearings are enclosed in another piece of plastic that snaps on. They are difficult to turn and the hard plastic is "scratchy." I am afraid they will mar my new countertops and cabinets. I needed something that would turn easily so I could reach some things on the higher shelves. These don't do it!

This is a great organizer for the price i paid! I only recommend this item if it is available for at least half of the suggested retail cost. Otherwise it is not worth the money!

Great product! JUST what the "Doctor" ordered. My stuff was scattered hither and yon in the yard, now it's all in one place and there is some sembelance of "organization." Love it. Price right, too. Checked out other sites and they were as much as ten bucks more. Folks did me rite!

My husband loves this organizer. He had owned one of the plastic ones that is on the market but it was not very stable. It leaned under the weight of the tools. I looked for a metal one and found this. It is sturdy, easy to assemble and cheaper than most of the plastic versions. Thanks for a nice product.

Works like a charm! Love the grippy stuff on the "S." Holds the broom, rake, etc. and doesn't let them slide down. :) Said it before, and I'll say it again ... you need this!

The FastTrack system is great for the most part. I love how easy is it to re-configure all the accessories anywhere on the track/rail. I do wish there was more of a variety of hooks available. The 'S' hooks don't really work well. Unless you hang the tool upside down, they tend to just slide through, and with both the 2 S hook and the 3 S hook accessories the hooks are too close together to hang more than one tool. The Utility Hook, Muli-Purpose Hook, and shelf with 3 hooks are all great!

I love all the products for the Fast Track. My garage has never looked so organized. What a wonderful change. Mel and Sheryl

Big bag of zip ties are OK at this price. Only average quality, though -- the zips are too hard to pull through the slot -- but for this price it is OK.

I just bought his wheeled cart last week and it broke literally in half this morning. When I got it home I was very disappointed because the handle was too short for me (I'm 5'6) and I have to stoop over to use it. I used it for 5 days not even reaching the max weight capacity and this morning as I was lifting it into my truck for work, the entire lower half cracked in half! All my books and graded papers went flying! What a waste of money. I'm back on here to by a better product. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!!!!!! I give it an F-

I am not happy with this product. It is flimsy. The first time I rolled it (and I did so slowly and carefully) over a threshold p;astic pieves broke off the bottom. The handles are on the front and back instead of the sides, making it hard to list and put into my trunk. the handle sticks when I try to put it up or down. It is a frustrating piece of equipment.

I bought this product about six months ago. It was very easy to put together and certainly made carrying things easier. However, it only took about 2 months for it to crack at the bottom. I kept using it and putting off buying a new one until it was completely unusable. That day came five months after using it. It won't hold anything anymore.
