Sears Craftsman Liftmaster Garage Door Monitor Additional Sensor 916LMReviewsGreat range. Receiver is about 50 feet away from the sensors. Really helps us keep our garage doors closed at night, especially after the kids have put their bikes away for the evening. I actually have the receiver next to the doorway in our Master Bedroom. Good for one last check before "lights-out." One unavoidable issue: When our home looses power, during a storm, the sensors have to be "relearned/reprogrammed." That doesn't happen too often, but after the first time, the receiver started blinking green/red, simultaneously. I thought it was indicating low battery power on the sensor (CR2025), but it actually just needed to be reprogrammed. There is nothing spectacular, but it serves its purpose. I did have a problem 2-3 weeks after installing it, but new batteries seem to have fixed that. I bought 2 of these separately, at two different times. I thought the first one I bought was defective, so I bought a second. The second one worked as well as the first; poorly. If you plan on putting the Monitor in the basement, I don't think it will work well for you. Average Rating:![]() |
